A transaction can involve title issues, historic registrations, taxes, residency status, powers of attorney and future inheritance consequences.
OUR APPROACH
We review the complete position before completion.
Our legal and tax teams coordinate the checks, identify avoidable risks and explain the available options before the client commits.
The result: fewer surprises, clearer decisions and one team accountable for the process.

Clear answers about tax and legal matters in Spain
When do I become tax resident in Spain?
Tax residence depends on several factors, including time spent in Spain and the location of your main economic and personal interests. The 183-day rule is important, but it is not the only test.
Do non-residents pay tax on property in Spain?
Owners who are not Spanish tax residents may still have Spanish filing obligations, including tax connected with ownership, rental income or a future sale.
What is Modelo 720?
Modelo 720 is an information return concerning certain categories of assets and rights held outside Spain. Whether it applies depends on tax residence, asset categories and applicable thresholds.
How are foreign pensions taxed in Spain?
The answer depends on Spanish domestic rules, the relevant double-tax treaty and the nature of the pension. Public-service and private pensions may receive different treatment.
Do I need a fiscal representative in Spain?
Some non-residents are legally required to appoint a representative. Others choose representation or notification monitoring because they live abroad, travel frequently or cannot reliably monitor official communications.
How can I avoid missing electronic notifications in Spain?
Companies and certain taxpayers must receive official communications electronically. Our monitoring service checks the relevant electronic notification channels and alerts the client promptly, helping reduce the risk of missed deadlines. It can also support non-residents who need a reliable notification solution, although formal fiscal representation is a separate service and depends on the circumstances.
Can Tacs4Expats coordinate several matters at once?
Yes. Our legal, tax, accounting and administrative teams coordinate matters where property, residence, inheritance, business and taxation overlap.
General information only. Tax treatment and representation requirements depend on personal circumstances and the applicable rules.
